Madness

Thats what this past week (and then some was). Busiest week of my life. Thats all I gotta say, and I've had some pretty intense weeks. Here is the recap. (Normal drill. First picture is most recent).

OPENING NIGHT! My plan was to run around and take pictures with everyone. But then MB came to visit and she was around when I was gonna take pictures so this is the only one I really got. Here is RB. One of the nicest kids ever. Legit. We have a good time jamming out before the shows.

If there is one downfall to this show, its the bruises. They are redic. And painful. And they don't go away cause they have no time to heal over. We just keep moving set and they keep getting bigger. Here is a picture of BB's bruises.

Photo call =] I got to be one of the photographers. It was AWESOME. I got a ton of good shots. I'm really happy with them all. (It was hard to pick just one). Here is a picture of SJ. He plays Todd in Far Away. He is real good.

After hauling all my books, laundry, weekend, etc. gear up the stairs this is what I saw written on my white board. It made me really happy. I missed my 3C girls this weekend. A lot. We then went out for ice cream (in the caf). Then I crashed on click clack for the night cause I was too lazy to make my bed. Yay me.

What an epic day. Started off with pancakes and HIMYM. Went to work (and was put to work for the 10 minutes I was there). Went to Scarlet Pimpernel fight choreography rehearsal. Then went to the APPLE ORCHARD with SB and DH. It was EPIC. We had a great time. After that I went to Caribou with them. Then drove around a bit while talking to SW. Then I hung with HR in Excel while watching the sunset. It was fun talking to those two. I hardly ever see them or talk to them now. Then JW came over for dinner and a movie. It was a very full and very fun day. =]

If you remember, a while ago I had a picture of K and S making hats. Minimal set. Black stage. Well here, a few weeks later, things really transform. We have set. Painted stage. We start tech next Thursday. Its gettin close... we are starting to panic a little more than we were before. But I love tech, so I can't wait.

Today was hat rehearsal. The hats are EPIC! We needed music, and lights. CD had no idea how to run the systems so he called me for help. I've never seen our systems. Who got them up and running? Yup. =] I felt pretty good about myself. The rest of rehearsal was the same old same old "what on earth is going on."

Rehearsal was awesome. Everyone was so chill. I had a great time and it put me in an amazing mood. So awesome in fact, I danced all the way home. Yes, it happened. This song started playing (Halo/Walking on Sunshine - Glee) and I couldn't help but rock out to it. I got a few weird looks, but thats cool. I'm awesome.

Like I said yesterday, theatre is insane. I'm at rehearsal every day for about 3 hours plus whatever else I have to do outside of rehearsal to get ready for the next days rehearsal. But I love it. So this is not me complaining, more just stating a fact. Anyway, here is part of our script (with my blocking notes and changes written in). This is from the narration during act 2. Its an odd show, but a good one. Come see it =]

Well. This is what I (and a lot of other people) woke up to Monday morning. Snow. And lots of it. It snowed all day Monday. It was kinda fun. I liked it a lot in the morning, not so much in the afternoon, then I liked it again walking out of rehearsal Monday night. Posting this two days later though... the snow is gone.

So, I have been running around the school going INSANE. Theatre is CRAZY. I have so much to do for it. Plus school and homework and whatever else I need to do... so busy. So thats why I haven't posted yet this week. Pictures are coming. I promise. I still have to take a picture for today... gotta get on that.

But I'm still doing better than my PIC so, yell at him first.

Didn't do much today. Just homework... So during a homework break I decided to organize my script (finally... it was really starting to bug me) then, just for fun, I switched out the filters on my camera to my blue one and took some pictures. So yeah... besides the text, this photo is straight from the camera.

GAME DAY! We actually won. Though I left in the middle cause it was SO COLD. (There was snow on the ground when I woke up...) But this is the only picture I took. (featured in this is HD and NG). Went to a magician at night. CRAZY good. Then came back and just hung with the girls.

Friday was coronation and variety show. It was amazing. We almost didn't go, but I'm so glad we did. Here is the SAE frat doing a "harder better faster stronger" dance. It was impressive. The two people I knew up for King/Queen didn't win. But thats ok. Its still exciting that I actually know people on court after only being here for a month. After the show we watched the Hannah Montana movie, and laughed at it the whole time. (It was terrible, don't waste your time).

I was hangin with some girls in the section today. SF got a care package from her dad a while ago and we all broke into it today. We had a good time mixing different flavored jelly beans to make a flavorful concoction. Here is SF with her jelly beans.

EPIC twins game yesterday. So today my section went to Kato to get Twins shirts =] We all gathered around the TV at 5 to watch the game tonight. Not as exciting as yesterday... at all. But we can pull through, right? Here is EH and AP trying to do homework while watching the game. (Its a hard thing to do).

Nobel Conference

The Nobel Conference started today. Its all about water. Woo. It real exciting... yeah... It actually is a big deal. I shouldn't be so blase about it. We had a few nobel peace prize winners talk today. That was kinda cool. Could I tell you what they were talking about. Nope.. But I saw this sign in the caf and laughed out loud. So I had to take a picture.

Well I made my way back to Tonka town this weekend for homecoming. It was a well... interesting... weekend. But I had a TON of fun. Here is the recap (p.s. Sunday is the first picture, Friday is the last).

Today was a chill day. Had pancakes with my dad. Did some homework. Ran to Target for stuff for school. Hung with DN for a bit. Hung with my PIC for a bit. Dinner with the fam. Back to GAC! Once I got back I went to TGI Fridays with the girls. We had a great time. They bought me dessert. =] It made me happy. (And it was REALLY good). Anyway, all the parking spots were taken by our building so we parked on the other side of campus. On the walk over we took way too many pictures. This may be my favorite. Our inside joke for 3C (my section) is gangst. This is a total gangst shot. I love my girls.

DANCE DAY! Went to Pimpernel rehearsal just for fun (GET TICKETS! Its gonna be good). Hung with my PIC. Went to take pictures for my bro's dance group. Here is KB and MC. We found rakes and had some fun. Its my favorite picture of the night. My bro looked dashing. I must say. I then hung with SK for the rest of the night. We went to FAME (It's good. I recommend it) and watched disney movies all night. =]

GAME DAY! We CRUSHED Edina. 14-0. It was awesome. And fun to see everyone again. After the game I hung with JA and HR. We went grass/mud sledding (minus sleds) then went to Perkins for some pancakes and pie. Mmm...
