Goodbye 2009

Well here it is. My final post of the year two thousand and nine. Crazy right.
Maybe my new years resolution should be to use an actual camera.. not just the one on my phone... for my blog.

New years eve! Went to Sherlock Holmes today (movie #5 if you are still counting) it was really good. Funnier than I thought it would be. Here is a picture of SK and I toasting the new year at one of the parties we went to. Yes, I promise this was taken before midnight.

Went to see Avatar today. EPIC movie. We saw it in 3D and the glasses were pretty intense (shown here). See it if you haven't already. Also, my PIC's family came over for dinner. We all had a good time.

I spent a good portion of the late night cleaning for having my PIC's family over on Wednesday. In the process I learned how to fold napkins in at least 3 ways. Pretty legit if you ask me. Also, went to New Moon tonight. I hadn't seen it yet, but it wasn't too bad.

Wow, lame picture. I went sledding and even had a camera in my pocket. Just failed to take a picture. I was going through this after sledding... school semester 1 in notebooks and papers. Woo.

I started my movie marathon. We went to see Avatar but it was sold out so we went to Invictus. SO GOOD. I recommend it.

After Christmas eve with the Grossmann family, the bro and I did a board/photo sesh in the new snow. With the new jump. =] Too bad the camera didn't like to focus for me...

SNOW! Snow storm of '09 hit. I quickly learned to love 4 wheel drive in the truck. Excel looked SUPER pretty in the snow.

My dad likes christmas lights. A lot. (Though, I do too). I was running to find something to take a picture of and I saw this out the kitchen window. Woo!

COOKIES! I went cookie CRAZY. I probably made over 50 cookies in the span of about 4 hours. Plus a batch of chex mix. It was insane. And they were goooooooooood.

So, I had a take home final I had been working on. In order to actually get it done I spent a lot of time at Dunn Bros in Excelsior with less distractions. As I was working, who walked in but Santa. Weirdest most awesome experience ever.

So, we have a hot guy wall in our section. JC was hanging out and he felt like he should be on the wall... so we had a little photo shoot. Yes, this picture will ultimately make it on the wall.

Hell week.

I feel like I write more apology letters now than picture posts. I'm sorry for that.
We are now in the thick of finals (well kinda, finals start Thursday but I've been studying for them for about a week now) so I'm apologizing. But chances are you wont be getting pictures till Friday.
Maybe I will update on Wednesday just cause we don't have class (so we can study all day). But I need to actually do well on these finals so studying comes first. I figure thats a legit excuse... right?

Oh what a week..

Here are the updates... I basically fail at life for getting pictures up on time now.

SNOW! We had a snow day today =] Well, more like the campus was shut down till 11:30 so I still had class at 1:30 but hey, I got to sleep till 9:30 so I'm not complaining. I then spent the whole afternoon in the library doing nothing (though I did take this picture from there). It was great. Now our section is having a movie/secret santa party =]

I went down to the wellness house today (BB's house) (it has an official name but I could never spell it so I'm not gonna try). I took their christmas picture and it was a great experience. I then spent too much time editing it and learning how to use photoshop. It also started hard core snowing while I was walking down to their house... that was fun. (BB you once again are my picture of the day!! Cause I know you are reading this).

DECORATIONS! We spent the day decorating our section, well the evening, and we only started. But we had a good time. Here is AP with her santa hat. She is adorable. Thats all. And our section is starting to look GOOOOOD.

C in CC!!! (aka christmas in christ chapel). Most amazing experience of my life. Legit. I almost walked out crying I was so blown away. Then Gustavus Choir was singing outside after the show and it reminded me of singing Choral Benediction with the theatre people and.. well.. all in all it was an emotional night. (Yes, mom. Its true). p.s. notice the very tall person standing in front of me...

When I got back to school my ex-PIC wanted to see a poster for the next show here at GAC because I LOVE it. So here it is. I'm going to the show tomorrow and I'm SO excited!!

IN THE HEIGHTS! Went with my ex-PIC and DN. Then saw a ton of people there. Not the same as seeing it on broadway with the original cast. But still amazing.

I got bored in my theatre class today and I started drawing and ended up drawing this. The skaters all lost a friend LE a year ago today. So they were all in my thoughts. (Are... in my thoughts).

Day of studying. Class 9-10, 10:30-11:30 then I rewrote an essay till 1:30 when I had class from 1:30-2:30 then I went to the library, worked till 8, went to an extra credit movie from 8-9 then did more work in my room from 9-12 when I went to bed. BUSY day. I ate on the run...

As if the Chapel didn't look pretty enough, now they have lights up everywhere around it getting ready for C in CC (which I am going to on Sunday =] ) They were rehearsing as I took this. I kinda felt like a creeper.

Just wanted to let you know that I will post soon. Very soon. Tomorrow hopefully. (Tomorrow being Monday). But I just got back to school and am exhausted from the weekend (which was quite fun) so... I'll get those up for you soon. =]

p.s. I feel I should tell you. My PIC epic fails at life. He missed a day of his blog... falsely accused me of also missing a day (which I have NOT) just because I said I win this project. Which I do. Because I HAVE taken a picture every day. Yay me!

Last day of tech. I ran around with my camera getting some test shots for photo call. This one reminds me a lot of the dance shoot I did with my PIC and KN a while back. But its my favorite number in the whole show. And I just struggled photo wise that day.

Tech! (again...)

Well I am now entering what WILL be the busiest week, well, ever. Its tech again. I have well a lot. I just don't want to think about it all right now. So here are the past few days. (p.s. fingers crossed I will get some awesome dance shots this week... be ready for those =] )

Dance tech tonight. Didn't do much, but I got to see some of the dances I missed when I skipped on Friday. I was watching from backstage when CD stepped in front of me to watch. But it made a sweet picture. (If only I had a legit camera and not just a phone.. this could have been way sweeter.)

I went home for the weekend!! To see The Scarlet Pimpernel (which. was. A.M.A.Z.I.N.G. like. wow. I'm STILL amazed.) So I went to say hi to everyone before the show. Here is a picture of me and EF.

Astronomy break

I feel like all I have been doing recently is Astronomy. Gotta get that grade up... So in order to take a break from studying about stellar parallax and general relativity I decided I should post from last night. About 11:30pm last night I realized I had yet to take a picture. So I said "shoot, I haven't taken a picture yet today guys!" SF immediately poses next to me just waiting for me to open my photo booth app on my computer. So thats what happened. Back to astronomy.. then production meeting... then experiment for psych... then a theatre troupe thing... then more astronomy. Good thing tomorrow is Friday. (Too bad I have more homework than I have time for this weekend...)
