Its all I do now. I swear. I'm out every day trying to get everything purchased by Friday. Anyway... I went out to coffee with LK today to say bye, then I went to the arts center to say bye to MK and KK, then I went shopping, then I went to dinner with SB then I did more shopping then I sat and watched Devil Wears Prada. Tomorrow I do more shopping... woo.... (oh the enthusiasm is just bubbling). Anyway, here is post sunset. I have nothing better. Sorry.

Oh well... I couldn't wait anymore. I needed to edit pictures. So 2 hours later I have a good 30 shots edited with this one done more intensely. Story time, originally I was gonna do this shoot with NI, not my PIC, but he just got home from Alaska so we called him since N was busy. I wasn't sure how the shots would turn out but I'm decently happy with a few of them. =] And besides, hanging those lights and standing out in the oddly cold August weather totally made the night worth it.

Dinner parties

Well, the K's came over for dinner tonight (which was amazing, by the way) and we all had a great time. SK leaves for school early tomorrow morning and our night was complete with dance party and photo shoot. And also a huge struggle on getting a sparkling apple juice bottle open. Good times were had by all. Here is one of the pictures from our shoot.

After a day of shopping for school (I feel like thats all I do these days) I went to Taking Woodstock with DN. It actually wasn't all that bad of a movie. VERY hippie-ish, but what else would you expect from it. And Jonathan Groff is in it. Things don't get much better than that. =] Weird to think that a week from today I will be posting from a whole new zip code. (And I can't wait) =]

I went to a bonfire tonight with a bunch of senior friends (most of the people there are taking off this weekend so it was a good chance to say bye to a good amount of people) But anyway, we attempted to make a fire about 3 times before finally giving up and deciding to have a game night instead. Well today during my super long shift I started making a calendar of the last two weeks I'm here. So, voila. Let me just say, I redid it so its more organized and some things have moved around and things have been added and its just crazy. Let me tell you. After work I went to Post Grad with KN. It was good. We both liked it. Then I went over to JF's house to chill on the boat for the last time this summer. (J leaves on Wednesday for school). Two Minnetonka theatre alum legends were there including Zac Barnett whos band is now touring. In fact they opened for Panic at the Disco this summer. Crazy!

I had another work party Sunday night. It was a TON of fun. We always have fun when we hang out. So here is KB basically body slamming LK. Oh what fun. We then proceeded to watch 17 Again and drool over Zac Efron like little girls. It was awesome.

Well... if you ever wondered what we do at the store when its really slow, this is your moment to find out. I worked a short shift today (3.5 hours) and it was SUPER slow. So IA decided that she would go up to the highway to pull people in, and this would be how she would do it. By, yes, dancing with a bucket on her head. It was quite comical. After I hung out with AT for the first time in forever. Then I started dorm shopping (eek!) followed with a puppy chow/madagascar marathon party with LT. It was a good day. =] I'm still on my concert high. For sure.

Well... I didn't do a whole lot today. Got up, chilled, worked 5-9, then hung out with DN and watched Mamma Mia. When driving home I realized I didn't take a picture so here is my picture. Exciting, I know. You can't tell... but the clock says 11:59. I was cutting it close. ...oops.

Ok, first of all... Em, you are the BEST cousin EVER. No lie. Thanks to her I had tickets to the Jason Mraz concert tonight and it may have been the most epic thing ever. I went with JL and hanging out with her in the first place was a lot of fun. But the concert, oh man. It was basically one big party. It was totally laid back and a very "every little thing will be alright" type of concert. In fact I'm pretty sure I lost my voice shouting that phrase so much. Then, Jason dedicated this one song to a couple there and he pulled them up on stage to dance while he was singing and the guy PROPOSED! It was adorable. And after that the whole night got even more fun. I loved the night. So much. I have come to appreciate Jason as an artist so much more. The guy is a musical genius. Legit. Legendary night.

Well I had quite the busy day. I started with a 3.5 hour shift at work. Then I went from there to see CP and say bye to her before she takes off for Bemidji State tomorrow morning. It was fun to see her again. Then I drove in the pouring rain (which was awesome) to my PIC's house where I helped him fill out his common app for schools and just hung out there before he jets off tomorrow. After I ran -or drove- to pick up DN. We went up to National Camera to check something then we went to Ridgedale where we did some unnecessary (but awesome) shopping and then we made me a bear to take to school next year. Except he is a moose... not a bear. So meet my moose, Tonka D.P. Moosejaw. Lets explain the name. Tonka (hometown, duh) D. (DN, helped me make him) P. (PIC, he asked it to be named after him. this is as close as he gets) Moosejaw (BEST COMPANY EVER). Then I hung with DN more at my house, played around with my new blue filter for my camera (!!) then I drove her home and ran to JF's to pick up a copy of a movie he made and I finished the night watching both the normal version and the commentary version. It was kinda epic. Can't lie.

Yes... I know the plural is geese, but I like gooses better. =] I hung out with The Loser (Ha... my PIC should hopefully be laughing right now) today for the first time in a LONG time. And that loser takes off for Alaska this week... psh whatever. Anyway, we walked around Excelsior a bit and when we came across the field of geese... ahem.. I mean gooses, he decided it would be fun to chase them. I agreed to chase them with him, but I didn't. Oops. Oh well, it was a good time. I'm off to work in a few minutes and then I'm going to Time Travelers Wife with KN tonight. =] I hope its good!

After renewing my license and running a few errands this morning I picked up SK and we came back to my house to watch 17 Again (which really is a great movie. It's one of my favorites. For sure.) Now we are just chilling and talking and she is updating me on her Mexico trip before we eat dinner and then go see G.I. Joe. Cause we are awesome like that. While we have been talking my mom brought us carrots from the garden and they were AMAZING.

I got back from the cabin around 6:00 tonight and caught up on life through way too many e-mails. Then I started talking to SB online and she had nothing going on and I had nothing going on so we decided to go to Lake Ann to take some pictures. We had a good time and got a few decent shots out of the evening. I am now sitting in her basement with DH (who I probably haven't seen since early July) watching Yes Man. What a good end to a good week.

I have never been there before so KN and I went to take some pictures. We had an awesome time. We then traveled to Excel to watch the sun set. It was a good night. I then visited DN and came home to get ready for the cabin.

A diet?

Well... because I've had my wisdom teeth out, eating has become quite the challenge. Chewing hurts, and the things I can chew get stuck in the gaping holes I have in the back of my mouth so usually I just swallow whatever it is I'm eating, which doesn't allow me to eat much. So, for the past 4/5 days I've had a diet of mashed potatoes, spaghettios, saltines, soup, and water. I was CRAVING fruit but eating fruit is challenging. Yesterday DN suggested applesauce, but I didn't have any. Well, my mom got me some today and I basically ate half the jar. (And I'll probably eat more before I go to bed) SO. GOOD. Anyway, I spent my day at work (6 hours... not fun) and I will be spending the rest of my night cleaning, showering and prepping for the cabin. Then I will sleep till noon. (I'm exhausted... again).

After working a 5 hour day (that was tough...) I went and picked up KN and we went over to Excel to shoot some pictures. Granted, it wasn't raining when we were taking the pictures, but, you know, details. I think we took about 90 shots total. It was a good time. After we went to Dunn and had smoothies. I didn't use a straw because I thought I couldn't and it was quite a challenge. A while later I realized I'm allowed to drink out of a straw.. grr. Oh well, then we came back to my house and made Mac and Cheese (cause it sounded good) and watched Devil Wears Prada before the most epic storm ever hit. =]

Well, I made it out of the house today for longer than an hour. Its nice to see the world again. I worked a 3 hour shift then met up with KN and LW at archivers (they were scrapbooking). Then we went over to Panera so they could eat something. But after KN ate she was still hungry so we bought a baguette. It was delicious. Then I took off and went to KF's house to watch Slumdog Millionaire with her and some other people. I then came home and went straight to bed. I was exhausted. All these pain meds make me tired...

SB came to keep me company today (and she brought ice cream.. I love that girl) And we had been talking about going to National Camera this week so she can decide if she would rather get the Canon 50D or the Nikon D90. After playing around with the D90 she decided that was the one she wanted. They had an EPIC tie-dye backdrop there so I had fun taking some pictures of her. And it was nice to get out of the house for a while. Then we came back to my house and DN met us here and we hung out for a while. I then took a 3 hour nap when everyone left and had some fun editing pictures. (I feel like its all I've done these past two days...)

Well... here I am. I am now 4 teeth less than I was about 3 hours ago. It was a strange experience. Being knocked out not so much, but the waking up part... it was weird. Way weird. It was hard to walk. Kinda felt drunk. I probably sounded drunk too... I couldn't form a word without slurring and my doctor was asking me if I had any questions. I said no but I wanted to say "It would be to complicated to ask a question even if I had one, so I just won't." But I didn't have any questions so life is good. I took this picture with my phone the second I stumbled into the car. I thought I had a straight face... as in my lips not being askew. Apparently thats what Novocain does to you. I've had cavities filled but never needed Novocain so this is a whole new experience to me. Not the most pretty picture, but hey, I just went through surgery and I'm supposed to be on the couch all day so...I will be watching Grey's Anatomy season 4 all day. =] Gonna be AWESOME. Hopefully my friends will stop by too. =] *nudge nudge, wink wink*

After working all day, I went out to dinner with JK and AK. We have a tradition of going to Leanne Chin. It was a lot of fun since I hardly ever see them. After, AK invited us to go to open swim with her to watch JF dive. So we went. Diving is an intense sport. I've never really seen it live before. But its so fun to watch. So we chilled there for a while and talked to JF and JG (who was life guarding). Then after JF, AK, JG, JH and I all went to Harry Potter 6. It was a fun night.

We got a storm. A legit, thunder and lightening, storm. Finally. I've been waiting for a good one. Today was a good day. Easy day at work. The Ugly Truth with JL (GREAT movie. So funny). Then we went and chilled in Excel and started seeing heat lightening. Which then turned into constant lightening across the sky. It. Was. Intense. It still is intense. I love storms. Here is a shot I took just as it started to rain. Lit by lightening. (no intense epic fork lightening, but I'll take what I can get). =]

Most epic day of my life. I swear. Work this morning which was super easy. Then I talked to CP at work for the first time in forever cause she was in Europe. Then I went and got my new favorite thing ever. Meet Wreck This Journal. Its a journal that you legit wreck. Its amazing. I wrecked 3 pages today. And I can't wait to do more. So here is one of the pages LW CP and I wrecked today. Then I had some girls from work over and we partied it up. It was a great night. AND SK came over and gave me the best birthday present ever. Complete with a can i randomly signed and dated in 03. So weird. But awesome.
